"Like Woody Allen on speed" (The Hearing Aid)
Clarinettist, community musician, producer, festival director, nurser of mild caffeine addiction.
A manically busy performer and producer who makes events with communities. Large multi-disciplinary works to small scale improvisations in art galleries, 24 hour song cycles broadcast around the world to critically acclaimed re-workings of Edward Elgar suits in derelict theatres. Late nights in Norwegian jazz clubs to the damp streets of Hong Kong.
A wordless world of improvisation. Directed by the audience of kids in the moment. A Norwegian/UK collaboration.
Maja Bugge (cello), Terje Isungset (drums, percussion, mouth-harp), Per Jørgensen (trumpet), Matt Robinson (clarinets)
A thing of riffs and drones.
Steve Lewis (vocals, guitar), Maja Bugge (cello), Ben McCabe (drums, vocals), Matt Robinson (clarinets, baritone sax, flutes), Paul Sherwood (hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes), Jayson Stilwell (overtone vocals, percussion)
